Women constitute 50 percent of the whole population, and nowadays have entrepreneurship at various sectors of the society. Due to their close relationship with the youth, teenagers and children and their educational and emotional influence on the other half of the population, they are considered to be the most significant and effective social groups. But in spite of all planning and supporting efforts in developing countries, they have not attained their proper platform so far.
The International Exhibition & Conference on the Role of Women in Sustainable Development, now in its second year, aims to introduce and present the capabilities of female entrepreneurs in sustainable development.
The event also follows other objectives such as introducing the products and achievements of women entrepreneurs; market development for women business opportunities; creating suitable environment for development of economic cooperation; and creating opportunities for face to face dialogue among the shareholders.
The conference will cover topics on Women and Development, Women's Entrepreneurship and Women in Family and Society.
The 2nd Exhibition & Conference on Role of Women in Sustainable Development will be held from 15 to 18 September 2015 at Tehran International Fairground.
