Tehran to host seminar on sensors

Renowned Iranian Sharif University of Technology is the venue for SSST 2015; a one-day seminar on sensor science and technology.

The Physics Department of the University has scheduled to hold the event on November 5.

The seminar is intended to bring together scientists and engineers of a vast variety of backgrounds to discuss recent progress and future trends in the design, fabrication and application of sensors.

Being invited to deliver on their latest findings, thirteen university professors from across the world will attend the event; among them are G. Sberveglieri, from Italian University of Brescia, and W. Wlodarski from Australia’s RMIT University.

Biosensors, optical sensors, sensor networks, chemical and gas sensors, sensor/actuator systems, artificial olfaction systems, mechanical and physical sensors, second materials for sensing applications are the topics within the scope of the seminar.
