Tehran, Taipei Book Fairs Sign MoU

In the 70th Frankfurt Book Fair, representatives of Tehran International Book Fair and Taipei International Book Exhibition signed a memorandum of understanding today to exchange free stands.
According to IBNA correspondence quoting the public relations office of Iran’s Cultural Fairs Institute (ICFI), the meeting was held on exchanging free stands between Tehran International Book Fair (TIBF) and Taipei International Book Exhibition (TIBE), where Deputy Director of TIBF Amir Mas’oud Shahram-Nia who is also the CEO of ICFI, and director of TIBE James Chao signed a memorandum of understanding on the issue.
Based on this MoU, both parties would be able to participate in the both book fairs without paying any charge for stands within five years. Moreover, every year a writer from Iran will attend TIBE and a Taiwanese writer will attend TIBF.
