According to examination of factors by US News, Technical faculties of Tehran University are the 56th engineering college in the world showing strength in producing research related to a variety of engineering topics, including aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering and civil engineering.
Tehran University, Iran’s best university for engineering, is ahead of Sharif University of Technology of the same city which ranked 58th in the same list.
The overall evaluation of the universities puts the two still atop other Iranian universities with rankings of 360th and 377th in the world.
