Tehran, Zagreb review ways to develop cultural cooperation

He termed the 2-day conference of 'Leaders of European Islamic Community' held in Zagreb on the occasion of the centennial anniversary of recognition of Islam in Croatia Constitution as a valuable opportunity for the Islamic community.
Hasanovic said that mutual cooperation with Iran will serve to bolster unity among Muslims and promote co-existence.
The Croatian Mufti described relations between Sunni and Shia Muslims in Iran sincere and said that as an Islamic country, Iran have successfully integrated the two communities to the entire society.
He expressed deep concern about the crimes against humanity perpetrated by the terrorist groups and underlined necessity of fight against terrorists and Takfiri groups.
Ebrahimi Turkman said that religion create balance among Muslims and expressed hope that the current tranquility in Croatia would continue and that the Croatian Muslims always follow the real face of Islam.
He said that the two countries have longstanding and excellent relations and the two sides intend to expand the ties in different fields.
Ebrahimi Turkman said that more than 2,000 experts are currently working to compile three encyclopedias in Iran. He called for cooperation of Croatia in this concern.
