Dr. Mohammadian said at a Conference on the Holy Defense: “There are lots of writings on history for martyrs in textbooks, although are not enough, but they should also be updated. In order to become a behavior pattern to students, what are in the textbooks as holy defense teachings are not enough, while the opportunity to learn these values should be provided for the kids too. Sacred defense is part of our historical and national identity, and it is a valuable treasure to our nation.”
He noted that there are activities for students in textbooks to get acquainted with the values of defense of their nation by seeing the sacred defense teachings.
The conference focused on the concepts and values of sacred defense in curriculum and educational content, the lifestyle of sacred defense patterns, creativity and sacred defense innovations and the status of defense science and education in the Fundamental Transformation Document.
National Symposium on Science and Education on the Sacred Defense was held with the presence of the head of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, Sardar Bagheri, at the initiative of the National Defense University and Strategic Research.
