Thousands attended Muslim Lifestyle Expo 2015 at Ricoh Arena

The Muslim Lifestyle Expo 2015 was held at the arena over Saturday and Sunday and attracted visitors from across the country as well as international exhibitors.
It brought sectors such as fashion, food and drink, travel, health, beauty and finance together under one roof.
More than 80 exhibitors took part in the event from countries including Malaysia, South Africa, Norway, Turkey and Denmark in the biggest ever showcase of its kind seen in the UK.
Tahir Mirza, founder of the Muslim Lifestyle Expo, said: “The event welcomes people from all faiths and backgrounds and showcases the huge contribution made to the economy by British Muslims.
He added: “This is the biggest event seen in the UK focusing directly at the leading role played by Muslims in the UK in all aspects of society.
“The UK consumer market is now seen as key to the ongoing growth of this sector which is why we have attracted so many international companies to the event.”
Among the international firms taking part in the exhibition were Tesla Motors, Moslema in Style, Nasim’s Baby Food and Aegean Dream Homes.
UK companies included ieat Foods, international fashion blogger Pearl Daisy, Lewis Pies, Aisha Halal Baby Food, Al Murad, Brunei Halal, Merlyn Wealth Management and The Dressmaker London.
Visitors were invited to networking events with speeches by entrepreneurs and business experts aimed to equip people with market knowledge, industry forecasts, trends and to understand how to market to Muslim consumers.
There were dedicated seminars covering subjects like travel, Halal Lifestyle, Islamic finance.
The event also supported children’s charity Zoe’s Place Baby Hospice, in Coventry, after organizer chose it as the nominated charity. (Coventry Telegraph)
