. The center is scheduled to review:
(1) 1150th anniversary of the birth of Muhammad Zakariya Razi (also known as Rhazes or Rasis), physician, chemist and philosopher (866-925)
(2) 700th anniversary of authoring the book of Golshan-e Raz by Sheikh Mahmoud Shabestari (1317)
(3) 1050th anniversary of the birth of Seyyed Morteza Alamolhoda, scientist (966-1044)
UNESCO secretariat receives Member States proposals concerning the celebration of anniversaries with which UNESCO could be associated in each biennium and submits them to specialized committees for consideration. The Executive Board then examines the list of proposals approved by committees and the final decision will be announced later on by UNESCO secretariat.
