Training process is much vaster than extracurricular activities

According to the Public Relations of the ministry of Education, Fakhreddin Danesh Ashtiani said in the convention of cultural and pedagogical deputies and directors of student’s organization of provinces, held at Shahid Bahonar camp: Rule of education over training has caused training to be separated from education and suppressed by it. Schools’ methods should change from practicing old routines which engage and exhaust the mind to those which make learning pleasant.

He considered creating completion between students a “damage” and said: Competition between students is very obvious in our educational system and students are divided into levels and announcing these levels in classes, usually based on the grades of basic subjects like math and physics has a negative effect on weak students. Considering that families are over concerned about these grades, such competitions leave students stressed out and unconfident.

Calling preserving freshness in schools “very important” Danesh Ashtiani added: Principals should pay special attention to Physical training classes and do not let them be dominated by other subjects.

If we think that pedagogical training is only on pedagogical consultants, it would be the beginning of deviation, for training process is much vaster than extracurricular activities.
