The unveiling of "The History of Iran and Persia" and "The Works of Iranian Poets" books at Seoul Expo

According to the Public Relations Institute of Iranian Cultural Exhibitions, Seoul Book Fair opened this morning (June 30th) with an emphasis on the topic of "New Definition." The head of the Frankfurt Book Fair, Jürgen Bass, was the speaker at the opening ceremony of the event.

This year, in the wake of political developments in the relations between the two Koreas, a part of the Expo space was at service of the North Korea.

According to the report, 32 countries and 480 publishing companies are present at the exhibition. With the improvement of South Korean and North Korean relations, the gallery has been dedicated to displaying books and images from North Korea in order to present a good image of North Korea. According to the theme of the exhibition's emphasis, all activities are done to create a new culture of reading for people.

The Islamic Republic of Iran, based on the general clarity of an agreement, which was arranged orally with the Seoul Book Fair at the Sixth International Book Fair of Tehran, has been exhibited in the 18 square meter pavilion, exhibiting books on Iranian studies, children and adolescents, art, contemporary literature and religion.

The unveiling of two books titled "the History of Iran and Persia" and "The collection of Iranian poetry works" from two Iranian writers and artists, inviting foreign publishers to attend the Tehran Book Fair, signing a memorandum of cooperation with the Seoul Book Fair, Introducing the scholarship program for publishers, writers and translators active in the field of Persian books and introducing the books of the Grant project are among the programs that are being pursued on Iran's pavilion.

The Seoul Book Fair will be open till June 24th at the Coex Convention and Exhibition Center.
