Dean of the Faculty of Linguistics at University of Salamanca Gonzalez Martin and UT Vice President for International Affairs Mohammad Bagher Ghahrmani investigated the ways of developing scientific cooperation between the two countries.
During the meeting it was decided to take practical steps for the partnership with the exchange of Spanish Language and Literature students, Persian Language and Literature as well as holding a joint conference.
The two sides also signed Memoranda of Understanding to develop university relations, educational and scientific cooperation and joint educational research programs.
University of Salamanca, which is to celebrate its eight hundredth anniversary in 2018, has invited the Chancellor of the University of Tehran Mahmoud Nili Ahmadabadi to participate in the event.
