We ask for Iran’s educational cooperation

According to the Public Relations of the Ministry of Education, expressing her satisfaction of her visit, Valeria Fedeli said in her meeting with Dr. Ashtiani: In this visit, I exceptionally monitored Iranian’s educational departments and sectors and I hope we would witness mutual cooperation between the two countries in this regard.

Referring to JCPOA, she added: After JCPOA, there has been an ever expanding relation between Iran and Italy, even though it has been mainly focused on economy and trade, but due to the history of the two countries, development and expansion of cultural relations are very important as well.

Insisting that increasing this cooperation will result in a better future for both countries, Fedeli continued: Vast investment in education is one of Italy’s characteristics and there have been some reforms in elementary, junior and senior high schools, recently. 

Minister of Education, University and Research of Italy reminded: Cooperation with Iran can cover a vast spectrum including information exchange and educational experiences.

Presenting a report of Italy’s educational status, she added: Many agreements have been achieved, and now these agreements must be executed. She also announced establishment of a joint educational commission collaborating on educational programming and teacher training.
