Maj. Gen. Mohammad Bagheri, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, said at a conference that the global arrogance wants to impose its culture on others, so the fundamental transformation of Document for the education of adolescents and young people must vigilantly be followed. The Sacred Defense, as a pattern, should also be a valuable treasure and pride and innovation of the Iranian people forever. The great powers that have exploited and colonized the nations of the world for centuries want to impose their own culture and characteristics into other nations’ cultures.
Major-General Bagheri added that due to human advancements in the field of technology and cyberspace technology, developments are progressing more rapidly, and the foundations for changing ethical features such as courage, martyrdom, sacrifice, unity are even more advanced.
Referring to the austerity of super powers, he added that today, even some Western countries are concerned on preserving their culture and values against the cultural power of global arrogance; so adolescents and youth of our society should be educated and prepare themselves to run the future of our society.
He said that our long-term commitment to the country's vision for the Document for the 1404 horizon is clear, and in this document the fundamental transformation of education and its dimensions are fully elaborated; which explains our policies, strategies, values, and all that is needed to draw up and formulate the road map for the future of the education system of the country.
He added that in the values that govern our system, we consider important issues such as patriotism, national unity, the use of experience, accountability, and Islamic culture; and in the vast strategies of this document, on development of creativity, innovation, experiences and development of public participation has been emphasized.
