We have come from the "monarchy" of the textbook to "Republican" educational program

Hojat al-Islam Mohiedin Bahram Mohammadian , who chairs the Organization for Research and Planning in Education, in a ceremony which was held at the Dar Al-Fonoun School, pointed to the gradual evolution of the textbooks from Monarchy to Republic phase, and said: "The changes have now reached the eleventh grade," he also said: “In the 80s, discussions were underway on the elaboration of a Document on the Development of Education, while at the same time in the academic year of education, when a National Document on this issue was planned, the research and planning organization were to change the two bases of the books every year.” Hojat al-Islam Mohammadian stated that there are nearly 1000 textbooks of different titles, adding that, in addition to using the specialists, scholars of universities and seminaries, experienced teachers, and professionals in industry have taken their share in preparing textbooks.

 Hojat al-Islam Mohammadian emphasized that if the external pressures want to defend something that its time is over for the book, the book should not be updated again. Referring to the necessity, using the comments of other organizations in the preparation of books, he said that the Ministry of Education has written letters to national organizations and ministries to announce their national needs. During the ceremony, a group of representatives of the authors of the 11th grade textbooks was honored with plaques of honor.
