We need to live Qur’an way of life

According to the Public Relations of OERP, approaching 14th textbooks festival, Hojjat-ol Islam Dr. Bahram Mohammadian, head of OERP said: More than anything else, Qur’an is rules of living, so it must be leaned and practiced.

Qur’an should be base of our plans for living; and that is why we believe Qur’an is excluded in our country, because it is not the base for strategic plans of our political and economic systems, he added.

Stressing that Qur’an experts should try make it more apprehensible for community, Dr. Mohammadian said: God has send Qur’an for us to study it, understand it and practice it in our lives and so, we must open our hearts to embrace it. We have an independent field in educational program called “Qur’an and Islamic Knowledge”; which shows importance of education and understanding Qur’an.

Reminding lack of proper books in reflecting and understanding Qur’an, Undersecretary of Education asked relevant authorities and experts to fill this shortage and continued: We must teach our children how to use Qur’an. We must expand Qur’an’s influence territory; we should have Qur’an with us at all times and go to it every day.

Remarking necessity of simple texts for understanding Qur’an for students, he concluded: We can take advantage of Qur’an massive potentials for educational programs and purposes; also, by proper use of electronic and computer tools, which is youth’s favorite, in this respect, big steps can be taken to familiarize students with Qur’an.
