Winners of Quran competition for Iranians in Qatar honored

According to the website of the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization, the ceremony was held by the Iranian Cultural Center in Qatar with the participation of Mohammad Taqi Husseini, deputy of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, Mohammad Javad Asayesh, Iranian ambassador to Qatar and Mahdi Khaleqi, Iranian cultural attaché in this country.

The officials in charge of Iranian institutes in Qatar and a thousand of Iranians were also present at the program.

45 top Quran reciters and memorizers from among Iranian girls and boys at different school levels were awarded at the ceremony.

The Quranic competition had been organized by the Iranian center on Fajr Ten-Day Festival in Doha.

The ceremony also included performance of Iranian traditional music, a painting competition organized for children and showing a documentary of the Islamic revolution’s victory and arrival of Imam Khomeini (RA) to Iran and a clip of Iranian scientific, social and technological achievements.
