World biggest, smallest handwritten Qur'an unveiled

The producer of the two invaluable books Raein Akbar Khanzadeh said that the biggest version took one year to be written in Naskh calligraphy.

He already has written 21 versions of the Qur'an in different forms using different calligraphies.

Speaking about his motivation in undertaking the task, he said, "I created the work to show that we use the most valuable material for our holy book."

Both 'Habl-ol-Matin' and 'Qur'an-ol-Azim' consist of two pages which includes all 604 pages of the Qur'an, he said, adding that the artistic products are decorated with Iranian metallic enameled work.

A wide range of programs and cultural activities have been arranged during the exhibit, which opened on June 13 and will continue until June 28.
