Golden pages of mankind history is adorned with the names of great teachers like Abraham ( peace be upon him), Moses ( peace be upon him ), Jesus ( peace be upon him ) and prophet of Islam Mohammad ( may God's praise be upon him and his descendents ). Glorious tutors who called mankind to unification, justice and equality of all human beings.
5th of October has been named Teacher's day in the world calender by UNESCO and thus it's a great opportunity to recognise and appreciate unique position of teachers as followers of God's messengers and promoters of precious values like philanthropy, justice, peace and truth seeking.
In our country, Imam Khomainy, with his profound understanding of teacher's role and position in development and elevation of society, considered teachers' mission equal to those of prophets and supreme leader of Islamic revolution calls education " center of creation of the world of tomorrow ".
It goes without saying that world Teacher's day relays this message to political leaders of the world : Education as the main factor of balanced development should be in the center of their attention.
I sincerely believe that development, security, coexistence and world peace can only be achieved through spreading education, expanding knowledge and teaching truthful and vital instructions amongst nations.
