Head of the Central Council of the Secretariat of Science and Technology development in Islamic Countries, Mehdi Karimi, told a press briefing session that 34 Muslim countries will participate in the meeting.
Karimi said that Advisor to the Supreme Leader for International Affairs Ali-Akbar Velayati will chair the Congress.
Ministers of Health and of Cooperatives as well as envoys from Kyrgyzstan, Turkey and Saudi Arabia will be present in the meeting.
Ambassadors and commercial counselors and CEOs, top producers and exporters of Islamic countries will attend the congress.
It aims to focus on the Islamic countries capabilities, regarding the exchange of knowledge and technology, goods, services and future perspectives.
The Congress secretariat said that regarding the definition and function of knowledge-based companies to increase the synergy of science and wealth, knowledge-based economic development, achieving scientific and economic goals and the commercialization of the research studies, the companies are the centerpiece.
It said that obviously, one of the main factors in the growth of national per capita income at international level, is the emergence of knowledge-based companies.
The website went on to write that having a macro perspective for providing a suitable context for introducing the knowledge-based companies to international market and globalizing them, the Secretariat of Science and Technology development in Islamic Countries aims in holding an international congress on developing economic and technical relations in the healthcare field with focus on Islamic countries.
Accordingly, presenting the knowledge-based companies’ capabilities and potential in a suitable environment is one of the main goals of this international event, it added.
