President Rouhani said that today, the enemies of the region, the Global Arrogance, the USA and Zionism are seeking to sow discord and new adventures against the nations of the region, stressing that Islamic countries and nations must be vigilant and bravely stand against the conspiracies of the enemies.
Speaking at the meeting of authorities and the guests of the International Islamic Unity Conference with the Supreme Leader of the Revolution, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, President Hassan Rouhani said: “The humanity have been waiting for a day like this for centuries, and for many years, people were waiting for the birth of a person who invited them to unity, brotherhood, kindness and modesty”.
President continued: “In those conditions where ignorance and superstition dominated their beliefs and whatever they wanted to understand from the so-called spirituality of that time were from temples and priests; they were waiting for the Prophet who, with wisdom and insight, could introduce the only God and complete moralities”.
“People were waiting for someone who would consult with people and speak to them; the ears, mouths and eyes are not closed in the community, and everyone can, even if they hear something from the opposition, choose the best and act based on them,” he continued.
President Rouhani also went on to say: “People were waiting for a prophet who could save the human community away from Ignorance”.
Dr Rouhani added: “The waiting was finished and a person stepped in this world, with whose invitation and mission, the ways for thought, science and knowledge opened and he became the forerunner of science and ethics in human society”.
The president said: "A prophet to whom, not only the people of the world today, but also all people are indebted to him today and in the future”.
“Although he did not live for 900 or a thousand years, but brought the Quran, which will be the guiding light of the humankind forever,” Rouhani continued.
"The Prophet (PBUH) was a victorious person who entered Mecca city without a bloodshed, and this is the first time a conqueror raises the white flag and offers a safe place for his most ardent enemies,” he said.
Dr Rouhani continued: "The Prophet (PBUH) taught us to respect not only the elders, but also children, and a few could overtake him in saying hello”.
President Rouhani also said “The Prophet (PBUH) invited followers of all religions to peaceful coexistence”, saying that this is what can be a common goal for divine religions.
The president said: "Everyone knew that the Prophet would never violate a promise, but if others violated it, they would stand firm against them".
He said: “Today, after the success of the peoples of the region in the fight against terrorists and disappointing the enemies, they are thinking about new conspiracies, and we must continue to be vigilant against the enemies of the region, Zionism, the USA and the Global Arrogance”.
Dr Rouhani added: “Now that they are seeing that terrorism has not achieved anything in the region, they have set up a new conspiracy and turned the region into the warehouses of weapons and gunpowder, and they are increasing their intervention in the affairs of the countries of the region”.
“The day Syria was in the heat of fighting terrorists in its own land, the Americans bombed the air bases under various pretexts, and whenever the Syrian people were nearing victory, the Zionist Regime was bombarding them by various pretexts,” he continued.
“Today, the enemies have launched a new conspiracy against the Muslims and have targeted the great goal of the liberation of the Holy Quds,” continued the President.
The president emphasised: “The Holy Quds belongs to Muslims and Palestinians, and it is not a place in which anyone can stand against the thoughts and feelings of the people. This is a new adventure of the Global Arrogance in the region”.
Dr Rouhani stated: "Although the Islamic Republic of Iran has responded to the call by the nations by supporting them, and wants to resolve the problems through negotiation and has never agreed to the change of borders in the region, it will not tolerate aggression against Islamic sanctity".
The president continued: “Muslims must stand unanimously against this big conspiracy, and the Palestinian people should be bravee than ever before”.
