Roshd Film Festival is an opportunity to combine art and education
The opening ceremony of the 52nd Roshd International Film Festival was held this morning in the presence of Yousef Nouri, the Minister of Education, at the Dar al-Funun High School.
According to the public relations and international affairs report of the Educational Research and Planning Organization, Dr. Ali Latifi, head of the Educational Research and Planning Organization, said "The Roshd Film Festival is an opportunity to combine art and education, and continued that this participation gives arts a different meaning and makes education effective. Education without art has no meaning. We have a great cooperation with artists. Basically, a teacher is an artist. This festival is an opportunity to understand this issue more."
As he stated that Roshd Film Festival can be an opportunity to understand this partnership and fill this gap; He said: "Education needs more ideas to produce educational films. Teaching and understanding many educational concepts still requires artistic ideas and educational videos."
Dr. Latifi stated that many educational policies cannot be implemented with only textbooks and stressed: "We need educational films and if the film festival does not grow in the educational system; We cannot fully realize education."
Referring to the destiny and shared duty of the education and training system and artists, he said: "I hope this festival will be a place to use arts and films as much as possible in the fields of education and training in the coming weeks."
The opening ring of the bell of the 52nd Rushd Film Festival rang at Shahid Safarpur School in Shiraz, Shahid Arsham Saraidaran School. It is noted that this festival started today.
