According to OERP Public and Int'l Relations quoting Ministry of Education PR and Information Center, in his speech in the 24^th National Conference of Daily Prayers in premises of Imam Khomeini International University in Qazvin, Aliasqar Fani, Minister of education said that daily prayers have been said to be the pillars of the religion and they are very important in students' social education. He added that about 19 thousand clerics and 36 thousand teachers lead the common midday prayers at schools this year.

Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, in a message to the 24th National Conference on Prayers, has underscored the necessity of feeling a public responsibility with regard to “promotion of prayers,” calling on everybody, particularly officials in state organs and those endowed with material and spiritual and management facilities to understand the magnitude of this issue and take practical steps to that effect.
