Among the objectives of this international conference, mention can be made of studying the existing challenges in the field of nanostructures and strengthening cooperation between the Iranian and international researchers in the field of nanotechnology.

Risk assessment and ethics in nanotechnology

A number of university lecturers will deliver speech in the conference, among which mention can be made of Prof. Paul Weiss, the editor-in-chief of ACS Nano and distinguished professor of University of California, Los Angeles, Prof. Luis Liz-Marzan, the editor-in-chief of Langmuir, Prof. Ali Khademhosseini, the distinguished professor of MIT and Harvard University, Prof. Peter Fratzl, the head of Max Planck Institute of Colloids and Interfaces, Prof. Hans Jurgen Butt, the head of Max Planck Institute for Polymer Research, Prof. Sir Mark Welland, the head of Nanoscience Center of University of Cambridge, and Prof. Kenneth Suslick, the distinguished professor of Illinois University.
