Iran Launches "We Defend Our Iran" Educational Packages on Student Day

According to the Public Relations and International Affairs Department of the Educational Research and Planning Organization, on this year's Student Day—which also marks the National Day of Fighting Global Arrogance—Dr. Ali Latifi, the Deputy Minister and Head of the organization, appeared on national television. He extended his congratulations to the youth of Iran and announced the production and distribution of new educational packages titled "We Defend Our Iran."

Addressing recent regional events and the public's role in supporting the oppressed worldwide, Latifi stated, "Iranians have consistently demonstrated their empathy, support, and awareness in all such events. We have seized this historical opportunity to bolster students' national identity and social awareness by creating educational content that aligns with the spirit of our time and meets the needs of today's youth."

He explained that the new packages are the product of expert efforts and collaboration with various cultural and educational institutions. "This initiative has developed three distinct educational packages for different grade levels: one for the second year of primary school, another for the first year of secondary school, and a third for the second year of secondary school," he added. "These packages comprise a range of learning activities, historical narratives, group exercises, and artistic productions, enabling students to actively express their understanding of national defense and sovereignty."

Honoring student martyrs, the head of the Educational Research and Planning Organization remarked, "Students have always been at the forefront in pivotal moments of revolution and resistance. These packages feature images of student martyrs so that today's generation understands that Iran's sovereignty is rooted in the faith, knowledge, and resilience of the past generations."

Latifi stressed the significance of fostering political and social awareness among students, noting, "Recent events have created a more fertile ground for students' political and social development. Our objective is to equip students with the means to articulate the concepts of defense, resistance, and patriotism."

"In addition to written materials," he continued, "these packages include artworks, short documentaries, and audio recordings to make the learning experience more dynamic and inspiring for students. We hope that, with feedback from schools and families, we can continue to enhance and enrich this initiative."
