Release of the Third Issue of the Roshd Student Magazine with a Special Focus on the Birth of Lady Fatimah al-Zahra (PBUH)

According to the Public Relations and International Affairs Department of the Educational Research and Planning Organization, the third issue of the Roshd monthly educational magazines for the 2025-2026 academic year has been published. Released in the third month of the academic year by the Publications and Technology Office, these magazines for elementary and secondary students form part of comprehensive training and learning packages, aligned with the goals of the national education system.

Student Magazines – Elementary Level

Roshd Children:

The third issue presents engaging content for preschoolers and first-graders on the birth of Lady Fatimah (PBUH) and Yalda Night. A highlight is the story "The Most Motherly Mother in the World," which narrates an episode from the life of Lady Zahra (PBUH) in child-friendly language. Other published poems and stories include Azar Khanum's House, Animal Astronauts, Yalda Song, Whose Birthday is Tonight?, Broom Tail, My Sweet Twin Sister, and more.

Roshd Beginners:

The December 2025 issue for second and third graders features a story titled "A Carton of Milk" focusing on respect for mothers. This edition also includes captivating poems and stories such as *The Adventures of Zeblu; A Northern Uncle; The Chicken Next Door; Our Class; The Adventures of the Twenty-Four Forest; 567 Kilometers of News; The Adventures of the Tiny House and the Big People; The Purple Hat; The Flower Stem; The Sultan's Tale*, among others.

Roshd Learners:

In its third issue, the editor of Roshd Learners encourages students (grades 3-5) to always carry writing materials. The article "Fingers and the Playground" offers the editor's advice for beginning writers. Other contents published in December 2025 include Cold, The Nest of Kindness, The World's Largest Skeleton, Suspension Bridges: Cradles of the Sun, Stepping on a Plate, A Flower is Precious, Discover Yourself in Solitude, The Story of da Vinci and the Autopsy, Speak, Corpse!, Where Does the Sound of Laughter Come From?, and others.

Student Magazines – Secondary Level

Roshd Teens:

The December 2025 issue addresses adolescent relationships with older generations in an article titled "Friendship with Elders," outlining the characteristics of healthy intergenerational relationships. Other articles for students in grades 7-9 include Why Should We Read Stories in Different Genres?, A Window to Ourselves, Flight Until Dawn, Step by Step Towards Tomorrow, Food for Artificial Intelligence, I Feel Good Because..., Ibrahim, the Man of the Fire, and Renewable Energies.

Roshd Youth:

This issue for high school students offers diverse content across sections like Literature & Culture, Humor, Progress & Technology, Art & Media, and Thought & Practice, with a special look at fashion and clothing. Featured articles include Are Our Clothes Out of Fashion, or Are We?, My Clothes, My Signature, An Introduction to Improvisation, A Step on the Silk Road, Camping and Competition, Fashion from This Perspective, Clothing Literacy, and more.

Roshd Art Students:

The December issue features an article titled "Who is a Successful and Unsuccessful Entrepreneur?" explaining key entrepreneurial traits. Other published materials cover topics such as Social Media Marketing, Speaking of Objects, The Magic of Communication, Transparency: The Key to Gaining Customer Trust, Navigation and Survival, Me and My Photography Journey, Deciphering the Job Market Riddles, Working Conditions in the Wood and Furniture Industries, etc.

Burhan First Secondary:

The mathematics-focused Burhan magazine for first secondary graders, in an article titled "The Formula for Marketing Success," uses statistics and probability to explain how to attract more customers. Other mathematical articles in the third issue include Geometric Concepts and Problem Solving, Unit Fractions, Mathematics: The Magician of Nature, How a Computer Calculates, Mathematical Astronomy, Numbers on the Scale, A Triangle with a Vertex, and similar topics.
