The 28th Conference of Muslims in Latin America and the Caribbean started in the Brazilian city of Sao Paulo on Friday.
According to OERP Public and International Relations citing Ministry of Education PR and Information Center, Dr Aliasghar Fani, Minister of Education met Ban Ki-moon, UN Secretary-General in Seoul on May 20th. The meeting was held beside the World Education Forum 2015 (19-22 May, Incheon, Republic of Korea). In his meeting, Dr Fani explained recent educational developments and achievements of Iranian Ministry of Education.
According to Fars News Dr Mohammadian, the head of the OERP said, "Dignity of teachers should be preserved because appreciating them shows maturity of the society, therefore authorities ought to consider teachers' livelihood too."
In a gathering on the occasion of Teachers Day and appreciating exemplar teachers, Majilis Speaker, Dr Ali Larijani said, "no doubt education is an essential foundation for any country and its construction. All aspects of education as a whole can help a fundamental movement for the country" reported by OERP Public and International Relations citing Fars News.
