Minister of Education Meets UN Secretary-General

According to OERP Public and International Relations citing Ministry of Education PR and Information Center, Dr Aliasghar Fani, Minister of Education met Ban Ki-moon, UN Secretary-General in Seoul on May 20th. The meeting was held beside the World Education Forum 2015 (19-22 May, Incheon, Republic of Korea). In his meeting, Dr Fani explained recent educational developments and achievements of Iranian Ministry of Education.

In a gathering on the occasion of Teachers Day and appreciating exemplar teachers, Majilis Speaker, Dr Ali Larijani said, "no doubt education is an essential foundation for any country and its construction. All aspects of education as a whole can help a fundamental movement for the country" reported by OERP Public and International Relations citing Fars News.

Museums come in all sizes and are often related to institutions of learning and libraries. Increasingly, churches and centers of worship have taken on the character of museums as people visit them for their artistic value even if they do not share the faith of those who built them.

Iran to Establish 20 More Tourism Offices Overseas

According to Abedreza Eslami, Iran will establish 20 offices by the end of the current Iranian calendar year (ends March 19, 2016) besides the existing tourism information offices already operating overseas.
In late April, the director of Iran’s Cultural Heritage Tourism and Handicrafts Organization (CHTHO) Masud Soltanifar announced that Iran will establish ten more tourism information offices in other countries.
