OERP’s Slogan for National Research Week: Research and Technology, Surge in Production, and Monotheistic Innatism Curriculum

​Slogans, programs and the most pivotal duties of the executive committees at Organization for Educational Research and Planning were defined by its Board of Directors.

According to Public Relations and International Affairs Office at the organization, after reviewing multiple agendas by the board, the proposed programs for the Iranian National Research Week was presented by Deputy for Curriculum Planning and Production of Training and Learning Packages, Dr. Ali Mohebbi.

Executive Instruction for Improving BOOM’s Implementation Quality Communicated to Provinces

"The Executive Instruction of Transformation Package: Improving BOOM’s Implementation Quality" was communicated to the provincial departments of Ministry of Education. The instruction has been signed by Deputy of Minister of Education and Head of Organization for Educational Research and Planning (OERP), Dr. Hassan Maleki.

If there was ever a year to appreciate teachers, it is 2020 and World Teacher's Day, held annually on October 5, is a great opportunity to do that.

Amid a global pandemic, teachers make sure no one is left behind as they help students adjust to distance learning and adapt to Covid-19 in classrooms.

Educating Exceptional Students during the COVID-19 Era Not Been Ignored

On the educational conditions of students with specific needs, specifically hearing-impaired ones during the COVID-19 era, Head of Department of Exceptional Education in Tehran, Shahnaz Karimi, said, “There is no problem in this regard as education has commenced in the cyberspace.”

A Training workshop on “Rumi’s Favorable Medium Index” was held by Organization of Educational Research and Planning (OERP) on September 29.

Provincial Liaisons of Artist Teachers Club in Filmmaking Domain Were Identified

Henceforth, provincial liaisons, as the chief assistants of Artist Teachers Club, will be in charge of running and coordinating filmmaking teachers’ activities.

According to Public Relations and International Affairs Office at Educational Research and Planning Organization (OERP), citing Bureau of Educational Technology and Publications, provincial liaisons of Artist Teachers Club in the filmmaking domain have been identified and approved.

Education Films for Technical and Vocational Training to Be Screened

The Organization for Educational Research and Planning has produced educational videos for four different fields of Technical and Vocational training for the Corona outbreak situation.  

The Office of Curriculum Planning and Production of Technical and Vocational Training the Office of Publications and Educational Technology have produced education films for students of different fields; including the machine tools, metallurgy, handicrafts and electrotechnics. The aim is to develop learning packages for students in the COVID-19 pandemic.

Leader Stresses Necessity to Update Transformation Plan for Educational System

Ayatollah Khamenei, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, delivered a sppech via videoconference with the Minister of Education and other managers in the educational system. The meeting was held on the occasion of the 34th Congress of the Educational System.

OEPR Plans for Education in Corona Outbreak

The head of the Organization for Educational Research and Planning announced the development of a curriculum guide in the Corona outbreak situation. 

 

Dr. Hassan Maleki told that the organization has developed a ‘mixed strategy’ which aims to prevent and decrease the shortcomings of the educational system in the COVID-19 outbreak.

Most Important Goals of BOOM project: Trusting School Principals

The secretary of the Special School Program known as BOOM Project said that the implementation of this plan would reduce the focus on the country's education planning system.

Explaining about the BOOM project Dr. Azim Mohebbi said: “Based on this project, schools are allowed to design and implement appropriate programs for students based on their own needs for up to 60 hours of school official time. It means that the design and implementation of these 60-hour programs is entrusted to schools.”

NRI to Bring Renewable Energy to Iranian Schools

Director of Renewable Energy Department of Niroo Research Institute (NRI) said the institute has defined a new program for the promotion and expansion of the use of renewable energy sources in schools, IRNA reported.

 

The program titled "Development of Renewable Energy in Schools" has been already started in the NRI’s Renewable Energy Department, Shahriar Bozorgmehri said.

Online Training of 60,000 School Principals for "BOOM" Project

The head of the Organization for Educational Research and Planning announced that more than 60,000 school principals across the country will receive online education in order to better implement the Special School Program known as BOOM.

 “60,000 school principals are to be trained online in their schools to implement Special School Program known as BOOM. In addition, 8 schools from each province that have performed best in the last two years will be introduced.”

Special Educational Channel for Exceptional Students Launched

The head of the Exceptional Education Organization announced the launch of a special educational channel for exceptional students with 824 sub-channels on the Shad network.

Seyed Javad Hosseini described the features of this channel and its sub-categories as full coverage of the courses of five pre-school, elementary, first secondary, first pre-vocational and second secondary vocational courses.
